It all begins with dialogue. We work with you to design inclusive, ethical and creative research grounded in people owning their stories.

We are researchers. We are practitioners. And we are creatives. We are the kind of people who have always worked at the margins - you know, those people who don’t always quite fit. The ones who find joy in the intersections of life. But we know that this is what makes us work. Because thinking differently is what we do. And we believe that there is a different way to do research.

We believe social research is something we can all do. It isn’t a specialised skillset that needs protecting. Research is reflection. It can be informed and structured, or free-flowing and thought-provoking. The power is in the structure of the reflective space. Social research helps us all reflect on our experiences, understand the world around us, and identify what we want to change.
